Fine Arts - Oil Paintings

Sunday, March 16, 2014

Namaskar.

Here I am with 3 more of my paintings.

This was delayed because of my absence from Hyderabad for more than three years.  I was in Gwalior/Bhopal Offices of the IA & AD and did not find enough time to paint and publish my works.  Now that I am back Home, I plan to paint and also upload more.

More to come soon !!

Please post your valuable remarks.

Thanks.

Oil on Stretched canvas

This is one more of many beautiful locations one passes through when going by road from Nalgonda to Nagarjuna Sagar in Andhra Pradesh.  I have tried to capture the magic in the air.  I hope I was successful to a large extent.

This may be called "Unwarranted Question".

This is an attempt to express, in colours, the ubiquitous feeling of "Why am I here ?!  What was I supposed to do and what am I doing ?! Am I an uninvited guest ?!"

Well.  I am waiting for your comments.

(Oil on stretched canvas 16"x18"-Varnished)

(oops!! The helper at the studio did not know how to hold the image. He printed my name on the
incorrect side)

This is the visual depiction of the process of "Spiritual Expansion", crossing the limiting adjuncts and worldly limitations. The part of "Self" present in us reaching out to the "Ultimate".

An honest attempt to explain through abstraction and c0lour, the great fight between black/negative forces and other positive ones. Everything ends in the positive energy, though. Somewhere in between we are bogged down by negative forces, but are supported by full, vibrant life force.

Hello,
I am Yeshwant. I live in Hyderabad, the capital city of the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. I work as a Senior Audit Officer in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department of the Government of India. I had undergone training in drawing and painting. So when I had fractured my left hand, a couple of years ago, I resumed painting to re experience the JOY of painting. Recently, some of my friends, who had seen the original oil on canvas paintings, had told me to sell these to anyone who appreciates the paintings. I didn't agree at first. But now after giving out some paintings to relatives and after covering most of the available space on the walls of my modest home, and after some more prodding from my dear friends, this is my first attempt to display my works to a larger audience, also with a hope to invite quotes for them. So then, here are some my recent works. Certain others are in different stages of completion, which I will post upon completion.

Please DO punch in your comments and suggestions. In reality, I am waiting for some response!!!. Thanks .......
